Getting a Hepatitis shot before you go on your vacation to Brazil would be a great idea. There are many cases of Hepatitis A, B, and C there in Brazil and you will want to be sure that you are protecting yourself. Wash your hands often and before eating.

Pack your suitcase lightly. You want to keep your luggage weight down to about 20 kilos. You need to make sure that your clothes can be washed and used at different times so that you are not lugging around a heavy suitcase with you.

Take along some cash for when you are not in the big cities. You will want to have some type of spending money for when Visa and American Express are not accepted.
